Some thousands of years back...

In the Kingdom of Masaka...

The King Biha came to know that neighboring kingdom was invaded by some foreign power called Krujan, many people were killed and state properties were looted.

The King called the minister and ordered him to spread a rumor in the border villages that there were a lot of tiger attacks in the area. Minister was surprised and asked for the reason. King explained in detail. Minister gave a smile and left the place.

After the people came to know about the tiger attacks, the villagers were very much afraid. Ministered assured them that nothing bad would happen to them. King has created new village setup for them. They just had migrate to the new villages. Villagers were not ready to leave the native villages initially but later agreed.

The King called his Mahapujak (Pujari/Priest) and asked him to make a large scale puja/jagyan(yajna/)worship so that God Raaga would help them to solve the issue of tiger attacks. Mahapujak asked "When you can solve the issue why to arrange such large scale puja for God Raaga?" King explained in detail. Mahapujak gave a smile and left the place.

The large scale puja happened. The citizens of Masaka kingdom prayed to Lord Raaga to help them come out of the danger of tiger attacks. The Mahapujak declared that as per Lord Raaga, 16 small scale temples would be built in the border villages and Lord Raaga's idol would be installed there but face of the idol would look like a tiger so that it would control the tigers.

The King called the architects and engineers and explained them about the design of the temples.
The construction process started...

The basic design...

The temple was not built of stones. Instead, iron was used and some technology was put into place.
There were 6 iron pillars on each side of building. On the ground, the structure looked normal. But there
was a long shaft-like cylindrical structure under the ground. The base of the pillars were tied to the shaft-like structure with iron chains. There were two handles by which the shaft could be rotated.

The 16 temples were decorated with the most valuable metals, ornaments etc and were filled with a lot of valuables. After that, the King Biha and all his architects, engineers, soldiers left the villages and came back to the city. The stage was all set for the drama.

For quite some time, there were letters/orders from the invader Kingdom Krujan (who invaded the neighboring Kingdom) to surrender. King Biha sent his messenger with the note that they would surrender.

The invaders arrived the border villages. They entered the temples and started looting.

The Masakan soldiers hiding underground, started rotating the handles of the shaft-like structure. With the rotation, the irons chains started getting twisted around the shaft and the pillars of temples were pulled which resulted breaking the joints between the pillars and the roof. The roof collapsed and the invaders inside the temples and those who climbed the roof to destroy, were mostly killed.

A sound came... Jai Masaka...
It was the voice of King Biha. He was watching all these. Then the King and the Masakan soldiers finished the remaining soldiers of the invader Kingdom in few hours.

RaaRaa-26 - The Buffer State

Some thousand years ago….

In the kingdom of Masaka….

There was a king named Nagantuka. He was very powerful and try to capture the whole landmass. His army was very powerful and comprised of lions, bulls, bears, snakes etc.

One day Nagantuka called his minister, Nagaku. Both made a plan to conquer the entire landmass. Slowly slowly they won the entire landmass. In the north part of that landmass there was mighty hills. Those hills played like a natural boundary. Nagantuka named them “Nagahimpa”. In the southern tip of landmass there was a mighty sea. Nagantuka named that as “Nagasi”. In the middle of that landmass, there was also a mountain range which was spread from one end to another end which was named as “Nagendragiri”, by Nagantuka. Nagendragiri was the actual boundary of Masaka kingdom. It was due to proper war planning of Nagantuka and Nagaku that they won the entire landmass. Nagantuka shifted his capital from Masakanagari to Nagapuri city, which was exactly in the middle of that landmass. He also established Nagasara city, near Nagahimpa and Nagatam city near Nagasi. He built a lot of temples of lord Raaga in those cities with the best architecture.

Beyond Nagahimpa hills, some dangerous persons lived. There tribes were known as Ajryapa. They all were tall and whitish in the complexion, having long beard. They were animal hunters and did not have any knowledge about traditional living. They ate animals and drank their blood. That was the only thing they do to survive. Namuma, a 26 year old man, was different from his tribe. He always had lot of anxiety to know about the civilisation beyond the hills. One day, Namuma, crossed the Nagahimpa and came to Nagasara city. He was surprised to see how systematic the city was, with lots of big farming lands, ponds, rivers, lakes etc. He travelled up to Nagendragiri. He thought that there was nothing beyond those hills. So he returned back to his homeland and share his experiences with his own people. They all were surprised to know about such a place and they decided to migrate. But how that was their man problem and what they will do in that area. Namuma made a plan that they will migrate in three lots. And when all of them were there, they will attack that area. Since they all were animal hunters, it will not be a problem for them to kill those civilised human beings. One fine day, Namuma along with 200 persons crossed the Nagahimpa hills. As per the plan, second and third migration happened after 15 days. In second lot, 1000 persons migrated and in third lot 5000 persons migrated. Within a month, all Ajryapas were migrated to Nagasara city and surrounding areas. They all mixed with local inhabitants initially but after six months, they started implementing their own strategies.

Beyond the Nagasi sea there was also a big landmass. That landmass was surrounded by sea and densely populated. That civilisation was also a big one. The name of that country was Lramia. They all were highly civilised and they know the traditional means of living. They also had farmlands, rivers, lakes and all those hilly mountains. They were also, well aware of Nagantuka and his army. They established good relationship with Nagantuka. All the things were going smoothly in Lramia but one day, an earthquake happened and divided Lramia into two parts. And within few hours tsunami occurred and almost half of their civilisation along with landmass submerged into the sea. Those who survived were standing helpless. They made a sudden plan of migration to Nagatam city. For this they also send an official letter to Nagantuka. Nagaku warned but Nagatunka allowed them to make establishments in Nagatam city and surrounding areas.

The migration took place from both the sides. Nagaku was very much worried. He internally prepared his army for all kinds of war. Lramians were very clever. They came to know about how Nagantuka won the entire landmass with his army. So they mixed with those different states. The same thing was done by the Namuma and Ajrypas. They killed the original inhabitants and pushed them back to Nagendragiri. Within few days war was declared from both the sides. That war was the most deadliest war in the history of human mankind. Ajrypas conquered the area till Nagendragiri. The Lramians also conquered the southern parts upto Nagendragiri. Nagantuka died in that war and his son Nagaputa was declared as the new king by Nagaku. Nagaputa shifted his capital again to Masakanagari as the war was still going on. Masakans fought bravely but they were depressed due to loss of their mighty king. After some days Nagaku also died. Masakans lost that war and Nagaputa came back to Masakanagari. That time was one of the most toughest time for him. The sad part was that he lost his father and Nagaku. But the good thing was that the original Masaka was still remain unconquered by the invaders.

Namuma was made king by the Ajryapas. He was a real barbarian. He killed the original inhabitants and those who survived came back to Masaka. In the southern portions of that landmass, Lramians selected Tholambuka as their new king.

Original Masaka state was untouched by the invaders and from that day onwards it served as the BUFFER STATE between the north and south to till date.

RaaRaa-25 - The Illusion - Part2 [Anatha]

Long ago...

In the Kingdom of Masaka...

The King was Jatamanu-II...

The chief architect was Ajaketu-1 and the chief engineer was Ajaketu-2...

In a village Dachaka, there lived a potter named Pagaidua. He was an expert in making pottery. Because of his skills, he was famous in his village as well as the nearby villages. When he built his house, he used some technique like using a paste (invented by him) and then heating it at such temperature that it would last long. He used to make small mud-plates and write all his findings and then burn it to make it stronger.

Pagaidua's wife was Pachidei and they had only one son named Nathua. Nathua used to study in
school and help his father in the pottery making. He slowly started learning the art.

Time passed...

One day, Pagaibua and Pachidei were outside their house and there was sudden thunderstorm and lightening which killed both of them. Son Nathua cried a lot but could not do anything! Cruel time took his parents away from him and Nathua became "Anatha (orphan)".

It was the time when Nathua had to survive on his own. So he continued with the pottery work.
One day while cleaning the house, he found the mud-plates on which his father wrote something.
He started reading those. To his surprise, he father wrote how to build disaster-proof houses.
He started implementing the concepts by constructing small houses and later bigger ones too.
Slowly he became famous throughout because of the unique talent. Instead of "Nathua", his name was spread among the people as as "Anatha".

The King Jatamanu-II called for a meeting. The chief architect Ajaketu-1, the chief engineer  Ajaketu-2 and other scientists came to the King. King discussed about the water-proof disaster management houses.

Ajaketu-1 and Ajaketu-2 were not sure how to make such buildings. So, they started searching throughout the Kingdom to find such person who can build such water-proof houses. One day they saw the houses built by Anatha. They were really surprised. They met him and offered him a job and to work with them. Anatha was very very happy.

Anatha worked very well, guided the other workers and completed the water-proof houses.
Ajaketu-1 and Ajaketu-2 were very happy with this.
But...They never told anything to the King about Anatha.
Somehow the King came to know about a third person (Anatha) who is behind all the work.
King called for Ajaketu-1 and Ajaketu-2 and asked them about Anatha. But they lied and didnt say anything about Anatha.

Ajaketu-1 and Ajaketu-2 were very much tensed as all the credit would go to Anatha and they might lose their positions as cheif architect and chief engineer.

The very next day, Anatha was missing. No one ever saw him after that.

Thousands of years passed...

Many folk stories were created about Anatha but none of the stories mention anything about where he went missing.

RaaRaa-24 - Bajarana

Some thousand years ago....

somewhere in Coastal area....

In the state of Masaka....

There was a small village, near the city of Mamba. The name of village was Jupiitaka. Inside the village, there was a small forest. In that forest there lived a sage whose name was Bajarana. Bajarana ran a small school inside that forest. He himself taught the students about the concepts of  Architecture, Astronomy, Mathematics, Geography and Philosophy. There were more then 20 students in the school. 

Bajarana was a tall and handsome person, having perfect masculine figure. He had a long beard with moustache. His command over the subjects were excellent. From the overall personality he seemed to belong from a royal family. Within few years his popularity increased. His school strength increased from 20 to 200 pupils. Still he managed to teach them all.

It was the reign of Queen Masumati at that time, in the holy land of Masaka, the land of Lord Raaga. She proved herself as a perfect administrator. She encouraged small entrepreneurship for self sustainability. She built a lot of temples and dedicated them to Lord Raaga. She encouraged the research in the fields of Architecture, Astronomy, Mathematics, Geography and Philosophy. She herself was an expert in Archaeology, Architecture and Astronmy. She mixed all these concepts and introduced archaeoastronomy in the curriculum of various schools. Beside all these, she was also an expert in Tantric philosophy. All the things were going smoothly. No internal war, no theft or murder cases registered within 5 years. One fine day, a messenger came in her assembly and revealed her that Pulu kingdom was making plans to attack Masaka. Pulu kingdom was established by king Pulu in the south of Masaka. Pulu kingdom was a powerful kingdom, having latest weapons and cavalry. Masumati got worried and declared high alert in the state of Masaka.

One morning all 200 pupils, after finishing their daily routines, gathered in the prayer hall. The prayer hall was an open air theater.  They all started meditation and then chanted mantras of Lord Raaga. Suddenly some anti social persons of the village came and started beating the students. They all were 10 in numbers and drunken.  Bajarana got furious. He shouted but those goons refused to stop. In the next moment, there was an attack on them from the top. Bajarana was flying in the sky and throw some stones on them. With this act of their master, some students also got courage and started beating them. Within few minutes they all ran away from the premises. After some time all the students calm down. Bajarana himself did the first aid and asked them about today's learning. They all hesitated. Then Bajarana told them about two important aspects of life. First "if we all united nobody can defeat us." Second "Never try to attack any person but if somebody attacks you, there is no harm if you attack them to protect yourself." This heroic activity of Bajarana spread in the entire Masaka like a fire.

The next day, Masumati arrived with her convoy in the ashrama of Bajarana. She inquired herself about the incident. All the villagers were gathered in the ashrama and surprised with this act of their Queen. They never expected such kind of gesture from her. masumati ordered her home minister to look into this matter and arrest those miscreants as soon as possible. She also briefed Bajarana about the possible war with Pulu kingdom. Bajarana assured all possible help to her.

Suddenly one day, Pulu declared war on Masaka. Masumati never expected such an early war. She called Bajarana. Bajarana told his students that since the war had been declared, he had to close the ashrama permanently. They all requested him not to close it. Bajarana then appointed Minumpa as the new master. After this Bajarana went to Masumati. He had several meetings with the Generals along with Queen. He made strategies and told them to implement these in the war. that war was very dangerous. On the very first day, Masakans had to face a heavy loss. On second day, Masakans got success in killing several Generals of Pulus. On third day again, Masakans, lost their spreme commander. On fourth day, Bajarana took charge himself and destroy the army of Pulu. Bajarana was attacking the army from the sky. Pulus were surprised. In that attack, they lost their King. Pulus were defeated. Pulu kingdom was taken over by Masakans. Bajarana told Masumati that although the Pulu kingdom was now part of Masaka, but instead of ruling such a big state, she must give them the status of autonomy. In this way she can have a direct control over them. Masumati agreed and appoint a king in the Pulu kingdom. In this way, Pulus now became a feudatory republic, under the state of Masaka. 
Bajarana played an important role in the war. He applied special weapon of bajra on them, while attacking from the sky. And Pulus never expected such kind of attack.

After this, Masumati offered the top General post to Bajarana. But he politely refused. He told her to arrange a barber. Barber arrived in the palace and shaved his beard and then Masumati recognized him. He was none other then his own brother, JATAMANU. He told Masumati that he will be available to save and protect his motherland, Masaka, whenever required. Masumati told her not to leave the palace. But BAJARANA/JATAMANU did not utter a single word and started his journey to another unknown place.

RaaRaa-23 - GiriGada

Some one thousand years ago....

In the state of Masaka...

The capital city Masakanagari....

King Raagaputa was having his grand assembly in his palace. The main issue was again the kingdom of Bayawi. The secret services minister got a report few days back, from his agent that Bayawi was planning to have a war again, with Masaka. This time, they were doing a lot of planning and preparations as they target one year of time. Lot of brain storming was done by the chief minister, Manidaitya. And today, he was going to present the report to the King Raagaputa in front of whole eminent personalities of the state including the tribal leaders. 

King Raagaputa arrived. He was tall and dark with a thick mustache along with beard. His physical qualities made him furious and yes he was. His father, King Rumenanku, was an ardent follower of Lord Raaga and so he gave the name Raagaputa means son of lord Raaga. 

Assembly started. Manidaitya gave his presentation about the possible attack that Bayawi was planning, which lasts for near about two hours. After that there was a huge silence in the assembly hall. All eyes were looking at King. King understood the situation and said that nothing was to be worried about and requested all to go to their respective places. Manidaitya was surprised. Assembly  was dispersed by the King.

Bayawipura....

King Kutapati was making the strategies for the upcoming war with his ministers. He was desperate to win Masaka, his long time desire. He send his secret agents to Masaka to know their strategies five months back and now on the basis of their reports he was making all strategies. He told all his ministers to do whatever they want to but at any cost they have to win the war. He told them to have trained elephants, bulls and lions too for that war along with the foot soldiers.

King Raagaputa called Manidaitya. Raagaputa told him to bring some papers also. Raagaputa drew the following on that paper and told Manidaitya, "Since we are having lots of hills, you must try to make several Girigadas. We are having a time frame of one year but better stick to six months. And tell all the architects that we want all this infrastructural developments within stipulated time." Manidaitya was understand this move of the King. He nodded and told accordingly to the chief architect of the state. Chief architect called his team and told them to develop all these as soon as possible.

Raagaputa also called his wife, Kasavati, along with the defense minister and told her to prepare a specialized army of female warriors who will ride the lions. The defense minister was hesitated first on listening this but after watching the enthusiasm of  Kasavati, he agreed. Kasavati selected 25000 ladies and divided themselves into the factor of eight. So, Kasavati will be the supreme commander having eight commanders and those eight commanders will have eight deputy commanders under each of them. The deputy commanders will have eight sub commanders and so on. Kasavati selected eight hills where Girigada was located. All the hills were having 100 kms distance and located in eight different directions. They also had five different rivers between them. Intrestingly all the Girigadas were seems to be replica of each other.

War broke out....

King Kutapati was standing with his army. He was not aware of the latest developments that took place in the state of Masaka. He attacked one Girigada. A fierce battle took place which ultimately result in victory for Kutapati. He marched ahead. Again, he faced another Girigada. After a long battle, he ultimately won that also. Then third, fourth, fifth and sixth. Kutapati and his army were exhausted now. He faced strong resistabce from the Masakans in the seventh Girigada. That battle took place for four days. in that four days almost more then half of his army were destroyed. He send a messenger to Bayawi for more army and weapons. The eighth Girigada was the mighty one, not in size but in terms of military power. He faced an unexpected army in that. Within two days, he lost all his chief commanders and faced a major loss. In the evening he sat alone on the bank of a river in a depression mood. He was tired. Suddenly he saw a nobleman and went upto him. He asked him about his future. He asked him that about how many Girigadas were still there. He told him that it was an unexpected war. He never expected the Masakans to be so strong in the guerrilla war. That nobleman told him that he will never win this holy land of Masaka and better to accept the path of Lord Raaga and surrender. Kutapati calculated in his mind. It took him one year to prepare for this war. But within twelve days, his army was destroyed and it will take another three days to have another set of army with weapons. So he surrendered within next day and accepted the path of Lord Raaga.

The Masakans were in joy. The mighty army of Kutapati was destroyed. The strategy of Raagaputa won. Kasavati asked Raagaputa about the strategy of Girigada. He smiled and replied that it was all made to save the great temple of Lord Raaga in the port city of Maput....

NB: The concept of Girigada was still prevalent in the state of Masaka and after some thousand years researchers found some Girigadas having same names.

RaaRaa-22 - The Survivors

Thousands of years back...

In the Kingdom of Masaka...

There were 100 groups of tribes in Masaka, known as Mausakas.
There were 100 leaders for each of the 100 tribes.
Mausakas were good fighters as well as they were able to do good cultivation too.

One day...
The elder among the Mausakan leaders suggested "We should once try the voyage in the sea and see what is on the other side.". The other Mausakas and requested for some time to think over it.
15 days passed. They had another gathering and all the Mausakas had a consensus that they would try the sea route once. The family of the tribal leaders had also the agreement to this proposal.

Then, they called for a meeting of all the Mausaka people and explained them about the sea voyage.  Other than the family of 100 Mausaka leaders, no one agreed to it and sea route was unknown and there was life risk too. Everyone tried to stop them for doing this adventure. So, the leaders decided that they would only go on the voyage.

The 100 leaders started constructing boats, collected food items etc and started their voyage on a full moon day.

After one week, there was a massive cyclone. The whole Mausakas were very much worried about their leaders who were on the sea voyage. One month passed and they were no news about the leaders. Slowly, one year passed and the leaders never returned!

Now the social stigma started hunting the wives of the 100 Mausaka leaders. Others started telling "The wives should have stopped the leaders from going on the sea voyage. As they encouraged their husbands, they are responsible for the misfortune.". After hearing these for so many days, the wives of the 100 Mausaka leaders decided to leave their respective villages and live in a new place (which was somewhat away from the sea coast) in Masaka with their kids. Finally, they had to do this to avoid the social issues.

Now the wives had to run their family on their own and setup a new village. The 100 ladies worked unitedly, taught their kids about farming and war skills. But they always tried to avoid their kids from going near the sea and always avoided the questions raised by the kids about their fathers.

15 years passed...
Two boys went to study in college which was near the sea shore. While having a conversation with the lecturer, the lecturer asked about the names of their fathers. After hearing the names, the lecturer remained silent for sometime. The boys were surprised with  this. They asked if he knew anything about their fathers. The lecturer denied to tell anything. After the boys insisted, the lecturer told the whole story of 100 Mausaka leaders! The two boys could not sleep the whole night thinking about their fathers.

Few years passed. The boys completed their studies and returned to their home. One day, both of them talked to their mothers about the sea voyage what they heard from their lecturer. Their mothers were really worried with this. They strictly told them not to ever think about that incident or ever try for sea voyage. But the boys explained them and finally convinced them after few months.
The boys then asked other families if they would be interested for sea voyage. But no one agreed and they scolded the boys telling about the incident that happened to the 100 leaders.

So, the two boys decided to start the voyage on their own whether anyone support them or not. Their mothers were worried but could not stop their sons. Boys started the journey.

To the bad luck, there was a storm again. The boys were somewhat able to save the boat but levers with which the boats move, were lost. They were stranded in the middle of the sea. There was no one to help. So for the need of food and water, they thought instantly and caught fish from the sea and took sea water and purified with multiple cloths. They survived like that in the middle of the sea for one month. *They were going to create a history as the SURVIVORS*

The mothers of the two boys had lost hope as the boys did not return. They went to the college and held the lecturer responsible for this as he told them about their fathers.
The lecturer felt guilty for this. He assured the ladies that he would go and bring back the boys.

The lecturer contacted some people and were able to convince some of them for the sea voyage.
They built twelve boats. Each boat had a wooden pillar in it and pot was hanged on the top. The pot had multiple holes on its top portion and lamp as placed inside it. The air could not affect the flame as it was at the bottom of the pot and the light was visible through the holes at the top and it helped them to locate each boat.

He told everyone to sail three boats in parallel and they moved with three columns and four rows so that they could help each other in case of any natural calamity.
They started their journey. After few weeks, they saw the two boys on their boat in the middle of sea. It can not be explained how much they were happy and surprised. It was just like a miracle.
They brought back the boys to Masaka.
It was a day of grand celebration among the Mausakas for the SURVIVORS. The people from the old village also came to the new village where the families of the 100 Mausaka leaders were residing and apologized for the way behaved them in the past. The whole Mausakas united again.

What next? The Mausakas unanimously decided to start the voyage to distant lands.
And...It marked the beginning of a new journey towards prosperity.

RaaRaa-21 - The Center

Thousands of years back...

In the Kingdom of Masaka...

If someone is near a revolving table and nectar is placed on one side and poison on the other, then the chances of getting the nectar is equal to the chances of getting the poison.
Life is just like that. Happiness and Sorrows have their cycles too.

Masaka Kingdom was going through a very good phase. The Kingdom was very much prosperous and everyone was happy with their work and life.

One day during the rainy season...
There was sudden cloudburst and massive flood. Many people suffered due to this.
Along with this, there were huge number of lightening as well and many got killed due to this.

The King called for a meeting and asked the advisers if there is any solution to save the people from lightening. The advisers replied that it could be controlled by planting more number of palm and dates trees. As the height is more, the lightening would 1st strike those trees.
As per King's order, more number of palm and dates trees were planted.

After few years...
It was not a rainy season. But there were sudden white clouds in the sky and massive lightening started which burnt the trees and many people died in Masaka Kingdom and in the near and also distant Kingdoms. And the sudden lightening continued many times. There was a discussion among the Kingdoms regarding this.

Finally, the King of Masaka had to call for a specific group of intellectuals (sadhu/dhyani). The sadhus analysed the matter and came to a conclusion that the lightening might be having some unknown force behind it. They told to the King to contact other kings from distant lands and to plant huge number of plam and dates trees and they would make the trees powerful by their Sadhana.

Masaka being the CENTER, plam and dates trees were planted in seven directions from Masaka to other Kingdoms.
1) Kingdom 1 - Towards North - 3500Km
2) Kingdom 2 - Towards North-West - 3700Km
3) Kingdom 3 - Towards West - 3000Km
4) Kingdom 4 - Towards South-West - 2800Km

Then the team of sadhus traveled in all seven directions and started making the trees more resistant to lightening by their sadhana. It took few years to complete the task.

In future, whenever there was sudden lightening, the trees used to get hit by it and no people were dead. It continued for few years.

Then the unknown force behind the sudden lightening acted in a different manner. There was huge number of lightening, particularly on the path to north Kingdom, happened for few years continuously which broke the northern spoke of the circular shape created by trees and the sadhana of the sadhus.
This time, the sadhus were not able to find a solution for this.

Slowly the lightening started striking the spokes of the chakra/circle one by one making the chakra weak.

And the years passed...

Slowly, most of the spokes (the trees planted in different directions and empowered by sadhana) almost got destroyed and disconnected from the Center.

And Masaka Kingdom became alone. The target of  the lightening (or if any unknown) was only Masaka.
In present day too, there are huge number of lightening strike on Masaka and many people die.
No one is sure as to why it happens particularly on Masaka and those intellectuals are not there to save the people.

One day, an elderly person came to Maput (capital of Masaka). He was very hungy. The locals offered him food. While having his lunch, he asked why the people looked sad and came to know the reason.
Then he told to the people "If the tall trees like palm and dates trees are planted, it can attract the lightening towards it and save people. Don't wait for the yesteryear intellectuals to come and save you."

A'AABOMA-3 - The Intellectual Chora

Long time ago there was a child living in Masaka. His name was Kuchu. He was very brilliant in his studies. At the age of 11, he mastered himself in holy books. Not because he was interested but because of his great grandfather, who at the age of 89 wished to listen the religious scriptures from his great grandchild. Kuchu was very closed to his great grandfather. After school Kuchu spend time with him. They both discussed a lot of things with each other.

6 years passed.....

Kuchu was 17 years old now. His best friend, his great grandfather was 95 years now. One night, great grandfather passed away. Kuchu was sad. But in spite of this, Kuchu topped in his exams. He told his father that he would like to study engineering. His father agreed. Kuchu again topped in his engineering. After completing his engineering, Kuchu went to a foreign country for further training and research. One day in the laboratory of that foreign institute, he found something new in that field. He didn't tell this to his co-researchers and experts. In the night, he went to draftsman. Kuchu gave some money to him and also his rough sketches with dimension. Within two hours his drawing was ready. 

Again Kuchu went to lab to cross check if he missed something. And yes, he missed a lot of things. So, he took all the original drawings with him and immediately went out from that sight. Within next 5 years, he crossed the boundary of that country and select sea route to return to his motherland, Masaka.

After 15 days, he returned to his home. He worked with various organizations and did very great research on those drawings. In the subsequent years, Kuchu's theories based on those drawings made revolutions in the state of Masaka. The state was benefited a lot.

Time passes.....

Kuchu was very old now, 85 years old. His grandchild, Pocha, was very much fond of him. Kuchu was a role model in his family and especially for his grandchild. One day, Pocha asked him about his inspiration. Kuchu narrated all the story to him. Pocha was surprised and asked him, " GrandPa, why you stole the drawings?" 

Kuchu replied that I never stole them and to understand all these things you have to listen me.

Kuchu started his story. It was almost 150 years back, when my great grandfather was very small, some foreigners used to come to our house. They were doing researches on our religion and scriptures. The grandfather of my great grandfather helped them. The foreigners used to translate those scriptures in their language. But grandfather of my great grandfather was very clever. He did not show them all the scriptures. Those researchers came to know about this thing. One fine day, those foreigners took all the literature with them along with various drawings and went to their country. They never came back. They did a lot of research in the field of science and technology, those research were based on our literature. And now, that country in one of the best in the world in field of science and technology. But look, where are we. I came to know about this event from my great grandfather. And on that day, I decided to take revenge. All these events were part of my revenge. Frankly speaking I never planned these, these happened eventually. Those were The Intellectual Chora.

RaaRaa-20 - The Magnet Temple - Part-2

Hi Friends,

Let's learn few more aspects of The Magnet Temple.

The whole structure of the idol/statue was like the one in the below photo.

It was carved out of a single stone. The base was like a horizontal slab with a vertical triangular portion over it. 

In the middle of the vertical triangular shape, you can find a cube shaped structure.

And, the "idols/statues" were carved on both sides of it.

So, there were two statues of two Gods, not one! But why? No concrete reason behind it.

If there were two statues there must be a way to move behind the floating statues. 

The bridge-like structure was extended so that people can take a round of the idols/statues, and can view both of them.

Few more questions arise here. 

Was the iron block (where statues were carved) rotating like a clock? 

Were the magnets able to rotate the statues based on 24-hour time?

Was there any technique that the magnets work according to the impact of the sunlight?

Well, This is beyond our imagination!!!

Is the story over here or did we miss anything?

Check the poles of the magnets. The opposite poles faced each other (South pole of the top magnet is facing the North pole of the magnet at the bottom). 

This was the reason why the builders/engineers were not able to place the magnet at the top as opposite poles attracted each other and magnet on the top crashed on the ground every time.

The chief was very much worried for that reason!

One day...

A school kid visited there. His brother was working there and as his brother fell ill, he came to inform the chief.

He asked the chief why he was worried. The chief explained the situation to him. The kid then analysed the magnetic structure based on his school studies.

He explained that the reason behind the failure was the "opposite poles of the magnets facing each other". He suggested to place the magnet at the top in such a way that the same pole of both the upper and lower magnet would face each other so that there would be repulsive force instead of the attractive force. And, any pole of the magnets would attract the statue made of iron stone.

And the magnets were placed as in the below photo.

The magnets were successfully placed and the temple was built.

The process of the destruction remains the same as mentioned in the 1st part of the blog.

But what happened to the scientists/architects/engineers/sculptors and the kid who designed/built such a grand temple?

No clues about that!

Did they go somewhere else and built such massive and scientific structure?

That is a mystery!

Time passed and the ruins of the temple are still there but silent.

It is told "Time passes but photo remains" which means, the time will pass but the photo taken in the past will remain for"ever".  

Similarly, the ruins of THE MAGNET TEMPLE are like those photos taken thousand years back but no one can see anything in it due to the multiple stories written intentionally about the destruction of the temple!
This story about the temple is also a story, not HiStory.

Note: This is a fiction which is inspired from a temple in Odisha. This blog does not speak anything about any proven history. But, whatever might the history be, if there is any research on the science behind the temple which is currently in ruins, then it will yield good results in future.

RaaRaa-19 - The Magnet Temple

1000 years back...

In the Kingdom of Masaka...

That was the time when the art and architecture was at its peak.

One day, the then King called for a meeting of scientists and architects.
Everyone gathered at the King's palace.
The King asked one question "If a hole is made on the earth from one side to the other and a stone is dropped in it, then what will happen?"
Everyone started thinking for long time!
Then the king asked "Any answer? Anyone?".
There were few answers as below but no one was sure...
1) The stone will move to the other side
2) The stone will move to the other side and comeback to the same side
3) The stone will move to the other side and comeback to the same side and then move to the center and stay there
4) The stone will move to the other side and comeback to the same side, then it will continue oscillating etc...

Then the king told, "Start the research and let me know after one year.".
The king funded for research work and the scientists started their job.

Six months passed...

The scientists found something different. They rushed to the King and explained him about the invention. The king was very happy. He called for the architects and told them to work with the scientists and design a temple based on the invention.
The architects and scientists worked together and the plan was ready.

Position of the magnets and the idol/statue:- A powerful magnet was placed on the ground and another equally powerful magnet at the top with the opposite poles of the magnets facing each other. The idol/statue was made up of iron stone. Due to the attractive force of the magnets, the idol remained floating in the air but it was not stable. So, Eight medium size magnets were placed on eight walls of the octagonal building. These eight magnets made the floating statue stable in one place in the air.

From the NataMandapa, there was the staircase connecting the main temple (Garbha Gruha).
And also, a bridge-like structure was made so that people can walk near the idol/statue as the statue was floating in the air.

And the temple was built.***

500 years passed...

That was the time when the fate of Masaka kingdom was going to be drastically changed.

After 2000s of years long fight against invaders, Masaka came under foreign rule.

A folk tale is like this:- The temple was built near the sea. The foreign ships used to voyage near the coast. Due to the magnets in the temple, the compass did not show the correct direction to the sea sailors. So the foreigners decided to remove the magnets. They also did not face any opposition as Masaka was under foreign rule that time.

They 1st removed the eight medium sized magnets on the walls of the temple.

Then the powerful magnet on the ground was removed. 

As a result, the idol/statue got attracted by the upper magnet and the sharp pointed portion of statue collided with it and developed cracks in it.

Then the idol/statue was tied with a rope and dragged to the ground slowly against the magnetic force and taken away.

Then sharp/pointed iron blocks were placed on the ground which got attracted towards the magnet at the top and collided with it resulting the complete destruction of the magnet.

As the magnets were controlling the whole building and got removed, the temple walls started collapsing with time and the whole temple got destroyed.This is one story behind the destruction of the temple. There are multiple stories/legends too. No one is sure which story is a history. Anyhow, as many histories are HisStory, so finding the actual history is next to impossible.Note: This is a fiction which is inspired from a temple in Odisha. A'AABOMA-2 - The C

There was a cold country. In that country some thousands of people lived. In summer season, weather was awesome but in winter season, they had to struggle a lot. One day, Adrianshu, the priest and a famous teacher called Chimpan. Chimpan was a twelve year old boy, but brilliant in studies. At this tender age, he mastered himself in mathematics, astronomy, economics and their holy book. Adrianshu told Chimpan that you have to travel lot of places and have to choose a place where we all can go and live happily, since the persons here were not able to adjust themselves in the winter. Chimpan was surprised on his decision but later agreed. He took their holy book and some poisonous herbs with him, as a secret weapon.

He traveled for next twelve years. He visited lot of countries. Learnt their languages and made him mastered in their religious scriptures. When he was 24, he found a suitable place. That place was having summer and winter season, almost equally divided. And most important thing is that, in that place, they don't have to face chilled icy air waves. That place also had mountains, rivers, sea, sea ports and forest. Chimpan was excited to see all the things in one state.

He spent some days and nights on the streets, only to learn their language and culture. And while begging for food, one day, he met with Munika. Munika took him to his home and after couple of days, Chimpan asked him about a job. Munika was a gardener in King's palace. He told Chimpan to be prepared for next day. 

Next day, Munika took Chimpan to palace. That was really huge. Chimpan was surprised to see that. They met with Mumika. Mumika was the minister of palace's affairs. He looked at Chimpan and got impressed. Chimpan was tall and handsome with all kinds of masculine features. After some time, he agreed to keep Chimpan as a gate keeper. Chimpan started his job. He was very much obedient in his duties and responsibilities and so Mumika asked him if he can fight. Chimpan nodded and immediately he was made soldier. 

One day war took place with a neighboring state and Chimpan fought that war bravely. He killed almost one third of enemies alone. The king was highly impressed. He asked him to get a wish. Chimpan told him that he wanted to be his commander. King agreed. Within one year, he was made commander. Other soldiers and commanders felt jealous on him. But King made him commander to look after internal security, as if he had some doubts on him. After some days, he went to minister of internal security and asked him for leave of one month. Minister granted him leave. He immediately rushed to his native place.

He met with his parents and Adrianshu. Adrianshu was very old now. Chimpan briefed him about his travels and how he found that suitable place. He even drew a route map. Adraianshu told him that now it’s a perfect time, you immediately retuned back and started preaching our concepts and try to capture their minds, especially the young minds.

Chimpan returned within twenty days and resumed his duties. He started to make himself friendly with teenagers and teach them his own astronomy, economics and more importantly his holy books. The students were also excited as they were learning a lot of new things. He taught them about some new social systems and some new scriptures. With help of them, he developed a new language and started writing in that. In a very short span of time, he translated his all documents and told his students also to communicate all these things to their friends.

One day, during his regular visit, he went to a temple. He met with the priest and surprised when he came to know that his father was a sweeper in the palace. He immediately questioned him and told him that it was not good, as his father was a sweeper; he also had to be a sweeper. The priest was surprised. On the same day, he met with a cobbler whose son was a state minister. In the evening, he told his students about this and polluted their mind. He told them that son of a priest had to be a priest, son of a businessman had to be a businessman, son of warrior had to be a warrior and son of a sweeper or a cobbler had to be a sweeper or a cobbler. This message was spread like a fire. One day, the main priest came to the minister of internal security and told him that he would like to have his son as a new priest. Minister got surprised. He told the priest to wait for some time. On the very next day, the main businessman of the state came to minister and told him the same thing that he wanted his son to control the business of the state. Minister was surprised again. He met with the King and told him about the events. The King was also surprised. He asked him to look into this matter. After some days he told the King that all such non sense was spread by none other than Chimpan. King got furious and asked him to arrest Chimpan. Chimpan got arrested and King told the minister to hang him in the street in front of everyone so that in near future nobody could think of such things.

Chimpan was hanged in front of everyone. All the young ones got furious. They all were sad and after some days an internal war broke out between the sympathizers of Chimpan and of the State.

At the same time Adrianshu asked his king to attack them as they hanged Chimpan. They attacked and due to lack of unity of the opposition, they won the war. Within few days, whole culture was changed, holy books were changed, system of education changed and in a nut shell whole system was changed.
